About me
For more than four decades, I have worked in military leadership, strategic planning and national resilience — most recently in senior roles at the German Federal Ministry of Defence and as Vice Chief of Defence of the Bundeswehr.
From 2021 to 2025, I was responsible for key aspects of military operations, force planning and readiness, and advised the leadership of the Ministry of Defence as well as relevant bodies of government and parliament. Today, I support companies, public institutions, investors and organisations in the fields of defence, dual-use, critical infrastructure and resilience — helping them turn strategy into structures, processes and capabilities that strengthen security and resilience in Germany and Europe.

The focus lies on ventures with credible strategic relevance, strong leadership potential and the ability to create tangible value for economy and society.
Advise
I advise decision-makers on strategic, geopolitical and operational questions where defence, public policy, industry and resilience intersect. This includes senior-level sparring, market and stakeholder positioning, and helping organisations understand how to act effectively in an increasingly demanding security environment.
Consult
I provide management consulting for organisations that want to strengthen structures, processes and execution in security-relevant contexts. The objective is to create clarity, improve readiness, accelerate implementation and build capabilities that deliver measurable value in practice.
